Saturday, June 20th
We have been working on our floors again. We have so many spots in our front room and down the hallway that dip and roll. Kory will grind the floor, we mix up some self leveling cement and pour it on. We do our best smoothing it and then let it dry. Some spots only need the cement once while others need it a few more times.
Saturday, June 27th.
We hope to be done! This is the last of the self leveling cement.
We were able to borrow a industrial grinder that Kory has been using for 2 weeks now.
It goes just a little bit faster than our hand held one. We still have to use the smaller one against the walls and corners but the big one can do the rest.
It's finally time to start laying our flooring.
Yay!
Kory and I were able to get the whole office done in one night. After spending all day grinding and adding a little more cement here and there we were tired but we kept going. It's looking so good.
In one night we got so much done! Not only is the office done but the same amount done in our future front room.
