Laundry Room

I hate our current bedroom!
It is ALWAYS a disaster.
Our room has become the room that EVERYTHING gets put in that doesn't have a current home and can't go outside in the shed or garage. I've got all our bathroom supplies and laudry room supplies and other stuff in my room!

This is the view from my doorway.
Eeeek! Don't judge me.

I sleep on the "other" side of the bed and seriously most nights have to turn sideways to get over there. I hate it! We've got our luggage, Kory's massage table, the laser, vacumn and our dresser right there at the end of our bed.

Once I get to my side of the bed I've got a nightstand, my hope chest a bin of "summer" clothes for Brayden and Kylie, a box of future friend gifts, a box of birthday bags and tissue box, Kory's massage chair holds my basket of shoes and then a box of books.

Back to Kory's side of the bed he has a dresser and a plastic box of mementos his mom and dad has sent us from their different missions. There's some candles in there that I know will melt if they get taken to the shed. So it's here.

On the other side of that dresser I have 3 big black bins. They've got curling irons, extra toothbrushes, laudry detergent, curlers, bandaids, etc. Basically everything you'd find in a bathroom and laundry room. It makes it super hard to get to our clothes hanging up! We can't reach them.

After a few hours of moving most of that stuff into the laundry room and then cleaning my room I love it! We've still got piles of "stuff" but it's much more managable in my room now.

So excited I can now walk freely around my bed and get to the closet!

In our "moving" in we discovered over 20 bottles of conditioner but no shampoo.
We've also got 27 containers of clorox wipes
Wow!
I think we've got our year suply.

Love, love, love that this stuff has a new home!

Merry Christmas to Me!

It's a late Christmas present to me!
I am so excited!!!
Kory and Hunter installed my laundry room cabinets for me today!
I've been at a church function all day and came home to this.

I can hardly wait to fill those drawers and cabinets!

I was so excited it actually brought tears to my eyes.
I can hardly wait to "move in". It's going to be a process so I'm choosing to wait until Monday!

Garage Lights and Roof

We've taken a little bit of a break these past 3-4 weeks. We are tired! With Christmas I just didn't want to work on the house. I wanted to decorate for the holiday, make treats, watch Christmas movies and just enjoy the holiday. So we did. And it's been great!

Several of Kory's brothers and sister's came to help with some odd's and end's.
Heather & Jim, Holly &Tim finished installing all the canned lighting in the garage and getting them all wired together.

The teenage boys, Hunter, Kyle and Orrin with Uncle Kevin's help hung the OSB on the front porch. They were so fast I didn't get a picture of them working.

Grandpa Heaton and Kirk helped Kory on the roof. Our goal was to finish the roof. We've got some storms coming and we don't want nor need any leaks!

Harmony, Dustin and I with Kory's help worked on the ground. We were cutting the roof metal and handing it up for the guys NOT afraid to be on the roof to lay it for us.

It was such a cold, cold day! Kory's siblings live in Alton, Panguitch, Antimony and Heber. Places that are suppose to be so much colder than Hurricane! This day every single one of them said it was colder at our place than their own. What is wrong with that? Despite the coldness we finished the roof as much as possible. So thankful for their help!

Master Shower

People keep asking what's left on the house?  The upstairs is 100% complete. Yay!! There are 3 things left in the kitchen, 1) Back splas...
