Gas line has been moved

It's been over a year since we began knocking down walls.
In fact this picture was taken Jan 8, 2018
It was cooler in the mornings it was January afterall. But most of my pictures are jacket's free!
We were very blessed for awesome temperatures last year.

This January 2019 has been pretty wet. It seems like it's raining, cloudy, windy and cold.
The next project on the house is to switch over to the new plumning/sewer.
So the first Saturday, February 2nd we were suppose to be rain free. Maddie and I were up north at one of her volleyball tournaments so we weren't around to help.

Cody Goodfellow came over with his backhoe and helped dig. We had all the new plumbing and gas line ran inside the house just needing to get it to the street now. Kory was able to move the gas meter from the front of the house (almost by the front door) closer to the edge of the house.

It seriously took all day long! Once the gas line was moved Kory and Cody started working on the plumbing. Unfortunately they hadn't dug quite deep enough and they needed either dug up the asphalt road or dig a tunnel underneath. Knowing he probably would need more parts they called it a day.

While Kory and Cody were outside.....
My Dad and Hunter were inside hooking up the water heater to the new gas line. Since they moved it we were without water most of the day. So happy they were able to get it all hooked up in one day.
