In early August we were able to pour cement for our back room that will be my office and the garage. It has been so nice being able to park on cement and not dirt. We don't get as much dirt inside the house now which has been great!! I know I took lots of pictures, the kids remember me taking their pictures while helping but for the life of me I can't find them. They aren't on my phone, not on my icloud back up or anywhere on my computer. Dang it!!!
The week of Thanksgiving we kept ourselves pretty busy.
We bought the needed material and used the days offs that Kory had to frame in our garage.
The walls were built first!
Then with a little help from Jason (my sister Sheri's husband) the walls came up!
And the sheets were put on.
This young man of mine was of great help!
Why he refuses to smile for me I will never understand.
Despite his sour puss face it was a great day!
Now we just wait for the trusses. We ordered them and paid for them but because there is so much construction we weren't told a date of when they will be ready. They told us it could be a week, a month but hopefully by the end of January. Man I hope so!!
